Fun sixth-plate daguerreotype of an interesting looking young man.  He is dressed in formal attire yet he has the hint of a scoundrel to us!  Maybe it is just his pompadour hairstyle.  This sharp plate is in very good condition with some light tinting to his face along with nice contrast.  There is some perimeter tarnish with some spots as seen.  It had old seals intact and we have resealed it with a new glass.  It is housed in a full case.
